Believe it or not, there is a bulletin for that exact problem.

Vehicle: 1994 - 1997 Buick Lesabre 3.8L

Symptom: Intermittently the car will stall or not start and at the same time the Power Windows and Power Door Locks will be inoperative.

System: Body/Chassis Electrical, Emissions/PCM/Fuel

Codes: N/A

Problem: Loss of ground.

Test & Fix: The fuel pump, power windows, power door locks all come together at a ground splice in the driver's door area under the carpeting. Inspect this splice and the wiring for corrosion. If corroded replace and repair the wires

I will answer most general electrical questions. Questions on a specific make will depend on whether I have access to the schematic or not. I will need the make, model, year, engine and specifics of the problem.
