Have your starter replaced. Had the same problem on a 2003 envoy for at least 4 years. No one could tell me what was going on. car mechanic said replace computer, on said replace the ignition. On and on and on. One day my envoy would not start as usual, this time it would not start even when i got home from work. Had it towed to a Chevy dealer and was told the starter was bad. had it replaced and lo and behold no more problems. And it is now going on a year with out any more no start no crank.
