Question
About 2 months ago this car wouldn't start.  We did the logical and bought a new battery.  A couple of days later the battery was drained.  We jump started and drove for 2 days.  Then it had to be jumped again.  We had it tested for starter, alternator, circuit and wiring shorts but the problem still persists.  I think it may have something do to with the security system?  Also the check coolant light keeps coming on and low tire pressure light - these have been checked and are fine as well.  Could it be tied to the problem draining the battery.  What do you suggest?

Answer
Hello Curtis,

For this question i would like to pass you over to my colleague Robert.  He is my go to guy for alarms.  You can contact him through allexperts on the alarms forums, or you can email him at installsupport@aol.com

He's very knowledgeable in the auto security field, and is good about answering folks quickly.  This sound like a problem that he would be better equipped to assist you with.

Thank you,

Please keep me informed of your progress.
