Question
My brake light stay on even after it's turned off and the key is removed.They also stay on even after I removed the brake light switch near the brake pedal. I had to remove the fuse to get them off.

Answer
which fuse are you removing?

if it is the 15 amp stop fuse at the instrument panel fuse block and that took care of the problem even after removing the stoplight switch (green/white and green wires) then you have a short to power somewhere in the harness.

Remove the electronic hazard flasher (locate it by following the clicking sounds) and see if that makes the problem go away, it could be retro-feeding power to the stoplight circuit.

let me know.
