QUESTION: Hi Derek,

The quarter glass is broken after someone sideswiped it.  Luckily nothing else was damaged.  I've called several places locally and am getting quotes near $600 to replace it.  Why is this so expensive? Could I buy one online (part number?) and have it installed correctly at my local auto body shop?

Hi Amy,

The part FQ21998YPY is expensive the Dealer part is 300.00 so if you have glass coverage through your Insurance, just call any good glass shop to do it. If not keep calling around until you get a glass shop to buy it from the dealer and only charge you 100.00 to install. Total 400.00
