Our truck was broken into and they busted the drivers window, my father in law knows how to put the window in, but my husband left me to find the glass, where should i look?

Hi Adri,

Unless your vehicle is something rare or unusual, you can probably find a piece of used glass at a local salvage yard .  Start with one that routinely stocks parts for your type of vehicle: ie; foreign, truck, U.S. made,  etc.

The dealer will also have the glass, but it generally will be much more expensive than a salvage yard.

If you don't have any luck with a salvage yard you can always try the glass supply warehouse.  However, most glass supply warehouses are strictly wholesale and don't sell to the end-user.
