how does the window get on the track? my window got smashed out and i got a new piece of glass that goes in it. took the door panel off but can not get the glass on track. these are crank windows

Hi Robert,
           The first question I would ask you is did you roll the window crank up and down to see the regulator work? My second would be did you buy this new, or a replacement glass from a used car parts wrecker? Third, Does it have a metal channel on the bottom of the glass? Forth, (You will need to put some gloves on for my last question )Is there any parts lying inside the door? let me know what you see and write back, We are going to have to walk/talk you through this one!!
