Question
2000 Pontiac grand prix the left rear window will not go up or down from master switch. It will go down from left rear switch but not up. Tried new motor and another single switch. What could be the problem?

Hi Willie,

You have either a bad master window switch or a broken wire between the driver's door and the body of the car.  

Trouble shooting is best done with a 12 volt test light.  You will also need to run 12 or 14 gage wire from the battery of the Grand Prix (or a spare battery) to the wire connector for the master switch.  Do you have the test light and the wire?
