QUESTION: '90 Ford Thunderbird

Thankyou

Answer
Hi Diane,

The best way to insure that it will not happen again is get a whole new glass with the clips bonded already!

Having said that there is a set of metal clips that most glass shops have in stock for this very common problem with the Ford Thunderbird and the Mercury Cougar from the 1980's to 1994 that had the DD7497 in them. The conversion changes the plastic clips to metal and incorporates a ingenious screw for holding the glass while the glue dries. So when you call the glass shop tell them you want the metal kit for your car, not just a reglue! Hope this helps! Stay Safe! Derek
