Question
Got a ford contour with headlight lens that are clouded over with age. Other than replacing them is there a way to clean the lens up. I tried various cleaners to no avail and it does seem like it is on the inside of the lens.

Hi Robert,
            I do not know if this model has Glass or plastic head lights but if it is glass your seal is gone, which causes moisture build up, then over time, a lime like film., and should be replaced.


       If it is Plastic, I have never had luck with plastic polishing but you can try some 3M Micro ultra light polishing compound on a wheel and see if that does it. I have even heard of guys using 000 steal wool on Old convertible top plastic when it yellows and they say it works but I have never tried it. Hope this helps! Good Luck! Derek :)
