Auto Glass/rear glass convertable

Question
this involves a 1994 Chrysler lebaron. Is there a kit or information on how to reinstall the glass back into the top if the original material that held it in place inside is no longer able to support the glass to the convertible top as it did originally?

Answer
Hi Robert,

If You look from the inside at the top of the rear window with the top 1/4 of the way Down, you should see a Zipper under a flap or close to the support bar on top and speed nuts all around the bottom of the fabric under where the cloth meets the car at the trunk line,I just can't remember if the rear seat needs to be removed to see the nuts but this is how the cloth and glass is changed in one unit. The trick is to find one that matches your color with the cloth and glass intact and in good condition to reinstall again. Plan on spending half the day removing the old one and the whole day replacing the new one. I looked on Ebay and found a lot of New replacement tops with and without the glass all pretty expensive 200-500.00 but this one junk yard has a white one and you could get it for 75.00 plus shipping. Ebay Item number: 8041574447  The only questions I would ask is the glass and cloth intact and is it guaranteed? Hope this Helps! Good Luck! Derek : )
