Question
I have really excessive wind noise coming from the side sliding windows on my 2001 dodge ram van .how do I repair it ?Or at minimum how can I cut down on the wind noise short of sealing them shut?

Hi Bridget,



                If the sound you hear is coming in on the slider side check the rubber seal that goes around the whole window for areas where it may have come off or out of the grove it slides into and remove all dirt and leafs that may hinder the seal. If that was not it then check to make sure the latch closes the glass all the way and the latch that grabs the sliding window is not loose.

If you still have wind coming in then I would have a pro look at it, some of the Custom windows on these vans are very expensive and you would not want to replace them if they were to lose parts or the whole slider was to blow out.
