Question
Window came out of clips and I reinstalled using silicone.  Now window won't track correctly.  Think I goofed and didn't get my marks for the clips in the correct spot.  Window goes up but binds about half way down.  Front goes down faster that the rear.  I need help.
Thanks,
Brian

Answer
Hi Brian,

From the description of your problem it sounds as though you have already analyzed the situation correctly: the brackets are not properly placed on the glass.

Assuming this problem is on the driver's door, you could take off the door panel on the right front door and measure the location of the brackets on that glass.  Then just reverse the measurements and transfer them to the driver's glass.

Another option would be to purchase a used glass with the brackets already in place.

Good luck with your project.  Let me know if I can help in any other way.
