Question
I had two wiper blades that were not very good and they left marks in the windshield. can I use WD-40 to try to get the marks out with out replacing the windshield?

Answer
Hi Don,

I don't think WD 40 will do any harm, but I don't think it will do much good either.  You might get better results from RainX or a similar product.

Many years ago most auto glass shops used polishing compound and a buffer to remove minor scratches from glass.  I am not sure if they still do.  You could call a couple and get a pretty good idea of what is availabe without too much trouble.

Good Luck,
