Auto Glass/96 Probe Window Stop

Question
Hello Ben:

Where do you buy the 1 inch round rubber discs with the 3/8 inch hole in the center that goes up and down in the window glass forward track (not the regulator track). They mount on a bracket pin (2 ea.) that attaches to the glass. Someone told me it was called a stop but I'm not sure why. Ford doesn't carry them anymore and so far I've had no luck with the internet and the junk yards in the Miami area.

Regards,
Bob

Answer
Hi Bob,

Here's a web address for a company that specializes in parts that are discontinued by the original manufacturer.

http://www.vpartsinc.com/

If you don't find what you need from them try to see if you can buy the door glass including all the stops from a local salvage yard.
