Question
How do I install the quarter window on my 2000 VW Passat? I've seen some good deals on ebay, now I just need to figure out what tools/supplies I need and how to remove and install the new one. Thanks!

                       This is a tricky one!  I would buy it on Ebay and let a glass shop install it for you.

                       And here is why:

                                 The glue that holds this window in is 600-900 Psi.  Sometimes it will peel off the car and sometimes its like cutting a steal belted radial tire off of the rim.

                             There is no way of knowing just how hard it will be without trying to cut it off the car. You can use a Utility blade knife with a NEW BLADE. Do not forget the Gloves and glasses.  If it falls off your in luck, clean off all the old glue,  Prime the frame and glass and glue it back in.  We do Sell the glue and primer for 15.00 + shipping if you need it.  Or you can buy 1 tube of 3M Urethane in almost any Auto parts store. If it will not cut off you can always bring the glass to a local glass shop and have it put in for 75.00-125.00
