Question
I NEVER ASKED THIS QUESTION BEFORE. IT'S A '99'FORD WINDSTAR,PASSENGER WINDOW. CAN YOU PLEASE, TELL ME WHERE THR RELAYS,FUSES,AND RESET BUTTONS ARE,BRFORE I HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ON A NEW MOTOR,ECT.I READ YOUR PREVIOUS ANSWERS WITHOUT LUCK.

Answer
Hello David,

If your window won't move, the most likely cause is a bad motor.  You can find the fuse location by looking at your owner's manual.  I don't think it is worth your time to figure out where the relays are since I am assuming your other window works and both windows share the same relay.

Try this:

1.  Start the engine with the vehicle in "Park" and the emergency brake "on."

2.  Sit in the front passenger seat and open the door.

3.  With your left hand press/pull the button and hold it in position to lower the window.  With your right hand shut the door firmly.  This should "jog" the motor enough to get it to run for a while.  It will lock up again sooner or later, but at least you will know you need a new motor.

Let me know what happens.
