Question
How is the cable routed and re-spooled on rear window of a 98 Chrysler Sebring?
A diagram would really help. Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Alvin,

I do not recommend attempting to repair this regulator yourself.  I think your chances of making a successful repair are small.  With all the work necessary to remove and re-install the regulator, I don't think it is worth the risk of having to do the job more than once.

I think your best option is to install a re-built mechanism.  There is a company called Dixie Auto Electric (954-563-5111) that sells a remanufactured regulator and motor assembly for the Sebring convertible.  If you search the Internet I think you will find that there are other companies that rebuild window regulators as well.

Sorry I couldn't give you the answer you wanted.
