Auto Glass/Adhesive for Window Rubber strip

Question
I have a 2004 Toyota Sienna that began making a rattling noise emanating from the rear window which opens outwards. I discovered that the rubber strip had come off about 1/2 way off the window (starting from the back of the minivan).  When the window is closed, the noise stops.  What type of adhesive should I use to reattach the rubber strip to the window?  Thank you.

Answer
Hello Rebecca,

I don't deal with this type of problem on a regular basis, so I don't have any particular adhesive in mind that I can recommend.  With the wide variety of adhesives available at your local hardware store, I am sure they can recommend one that would be compatible with the rubber window seal and the metal body panel.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
