| Comment | Ben: thanks so much for the quick and detailed response. The silicone spray seemed to help a bit, but I am convinced that the problem is something mechanical. Either the very cheap replacement regulator has a lot of loosely fitting joints, or I have not done a good job of replacing it properly.
