Derek,

Do you have the removal/installation steps for replacing the LR door vent window on a 4 dr 1997 Chevy Cavalier.

Someone broke into the car last week.

Hi Paul,


              
        I do not remember doing one of these recently but this one does not look so bad.

              Roll the window down and remove the top screw that is under the door seal directly above the vent/door glass vertical channel. Without bending this channel see how much play this allows you to remove the vent.
           Some vents can be removed and installed this way, others require you to remove the door panel and remove the channel out of the way totally. Then it is only a matter of a couple of 10mm nuts that hold the channel inside the door.

           If you still do not have the room you will have to take out the door glass, channel, vent, in that order and revers the process to install.
