Question
My power window on the passenger side of my 1995 Explorer is stuck in the down position. Neither the driver side switch or the passenger side switch will work to control the passenger front window, but all of the other electrical controls are working including the other windows.  I dont think im getting any current to those two controls.  Also i havent experienced any of the typical signs of a motor going out.  How do i check to see where the problem is?

Answer
Hello Nick,

If you have a 12V test light or an electrical meter, I believe the blue/black wire is the wire that brings power into the both the master window switch and the single switch on the passenger door.  If you have power into both of the switches, it is highly likely that the window motor in the passenger door is bad.  That is the most common problem for this vintage of Explorer.
