I hav a '95 Pont Grand Am SE w/ a v-6. I was having problems with both power windows but then they were both working fine. So i started cautiously using them again. One day recently the driver side window got stuck all the way DOWN. The pass side pwr window is still working. I am asking what do u think is the problem and can u instruct me how to get the window up properly so that it will stay up w/o rigging, until i get it fixed?

I will need more information.


1.  Is you Grand Am a 2 door or 4 door?

2.  Do you hear any noise coming from inside the driver door when you press the button to raise the window?

3.  What is your level of mechanical experience & skill:  low? - medium? - high?

4.  Do you have an electrical meter or 12V test light?
