Auto Glass/2005 Explorer Passenger Front Window

Question
My window goes down, not up.  I switched the switch with one in the back and it works the same, down but not up.  No sounds, everything seems smooth and in place.  Works down from both driver and passenger side.  I've started the motor and tried, I don't see any dimming from the lights when I press up.
What next?  05 Explorer

Answer
Hi Pat,

I suspect your problem is in the master switch on the driver door.  This is a common problem on the 2002-2003 vintage Explorer, which uses a similar, but different switch than your 2005.

I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to electrical troubleshooting, so I can't give you anything specific as to what steps you need to take to confirm the source of the problem.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
