Hey Derek,

I drive i 93 Infiniti J30 with upwards of 190,000 miles on it. Last night my driver side window failed to raise after I lowered it. Its an auto lower window so when I press it, I just expect it to go down all the way. This time, a few minutes after, the windows making a noise and I notice its not lowered completely. So I lower it all the way and now it wont raise. It does make noise so im guessing the motor is fine...? Whats wrong with it and can I fix it by myself?

Answer
Hi Demetrius.

The Window regulator has gone bad and needs to be replaced!

You will have trouble finding it at the junk yards but Ebay may have one or two?

It is not that hard to replace. Just don't brake the glass it is even harder to get than the Regulator.

                                                                Hope This Helps! Derek =D
