Question
I just replaced the driver's side window motor, and when I pluged it in it rolled up all on its own.  I took a test light to the plug, and found that it has voltage it even when I unplug the switch.  I think I have a relay stuck, but can not seem to find it.  What I would like to know is it controled by a relay or dose it go through a body control computer?  If it is a relay can you tell me where it is at?

Thank you

Charles

Answer
Hi Charles,

I am sorry that I am not an expert when it comes to the electrical components of power window systems so I am not sure about the location of the window relay.  In most of the Fords I am familiar with, there is a group of relays under the dash between the steering column and center console.  Hope this helps.
