Derek,

I have a 1992 Ford E-150 which just turned 297,000 miles.  Inasmuch as I am a senior citizen who is unemployed, I have been trying to keep the van on the road.

Yesterday, something (small rock?) hit my windshield causing a spider-crack.  It's been spreading, so there is no doubt it will have to be replaced.  Since I have minimal insurance coverage, the cost will not be covered.

What do you recommend and could you give a range of an appropriate charge?

         The Windshield DW1175 for your van should be no more then 150.00 Used.

225.00 New aftermarket.

The 1992 is the first year of the new body style for the E150 and is a much better job as far as the Seal.
         Ford did away with the Metal clips and moldings and the glass comes with the molding attached.
