Answer
Hi Kim,
Since your son is excluded from your policy, your insurance company is not going to pay any money to repair your car nor any money to repair the other car nor any money if the other party claims injuries.

Most states hold the registered owner of the car co-liable with the driver.  If that is true of Florida law, both you and your son are going to be responsible for paying for the damages to the other car as well as any injury claim that may be presented.

You will be fully responsible for paying for the damages to your own vehicle.

This situation could get very messy if the other driver claims injuries and secures an attorney.  If that happens, you will need to hire an attorney to represent you and your son.

I hope this has been of help.
