Question
I have a 2007 Lexus 350 that had 13,300.00 in damage and frame was also bent. How do I go about filing a diminished 3rd party claim. I was NOT at fault. Was sitting at a stop light. No one in Calif can tell me what to do to protect myself. Its a leased car from Lexus.

Answer
Hi Madelone,
To establish diminished value amounts, you will need to hire a professional independent vehicle appraiser (at your own cost).

To learn more about diminished value you should visit www.collisionclaims.com . They have inspectors nationwide and can provide the appraisal documents as well as information and help on the claim process.
I hope this information is of help.
Your feedback by rating my answer will be appreciated.
