Question
I was in an accident 5-4-05 and had no insurance and just got served papers for damages to fix the car. Do I have any chance to beat this?
05-4-05. Ha. well I am not sure in what state you are in, but it seems to me that you have a big chance of beating this simply by looking up the statute of limitations. Look up the statute of limitations for property damage for you state. If it is less time that the one that has already lapse, you win!
If it is not, then you are going to have to dispute fault and/or damages.
