Question
the accident took place on feb. 16 of 2007. it is now may 1 2008. another car and i was hit by a drunk driver coming from the opposite direction. She has full coverage about among the other car and mine there were 7 people total. i have permanent injuries stating i have two disc hernation on c5-c6. i have a attorney but the said nation wide insurance wants to fully examine everyone medical records records how long will it take? i just want to get compsenated for the accident.

Hi Linda,
This is something that you need to discuss with your attorney.  I don't think that either your attorney or myself can even attempt to make a guess as to the amount of time that Nationwide will need to thoroughly review the files of 7 injured people.

Your attorney can file a demand with a time limit of 15-30 days which will force the insurance company to respond within that time frame.
