Auto Insurance Claims/side crash

Question
hi ya, I hope you can help. I have just been involved in a car crash an would like an idea of how the insurance company will decide whose fault it was. Basically I was at a roundabout with 3 lanes, the first is to turn left, the second had straight on, and the third has straight on and right marked on it. The straight on is a dual carriageway, with 2 lanes immediately. I was in the right hand lane and level with the other car which was in the middle lane. We pulled away at the same time however I was infront by a bit. I then got on the roundabout an then indicated left pulling into the fast lane of the dual carriageway . At the same time the other driver pulled into the fast lane of the dual carriageway and smashed into the side of my car. His car has a damaged front bumper, driver side headlight etc . Basically front end damage, whilst mine has passenger side door panel damage and the passanger front wheel damaged. Please could you advise as to whose side the insurance are likely to side with. Thanks very much for your help I'm going out of my mind with worry !!!

Answer
Hi Sarah,
Based on the wording of your question, it appears that each of you were rushing to the same location with undue caution.
Since it is a well known fact that two objects cannot occupy the same
space at the same time, you quiet naturally collided.
If I properly understand your question, then it is my opinion that the insurance companies will assign a degree of fault to each of you, probably 50/50.

I hope that you find this to be helpful.
Your feedback by rating my answer will be appreciated.

Sincerely,
