Question
My wife was in an accident for it was determined that she was not at fault. the other driver was ticketed and at fault. Our car is 2 months old from the show room and the damage can be repaired, am I entitled to compensation for the decrease in value of the new car due to the accident, even if it is repaired?

Answer
Hello Andres,

The answer is yes, you are entitled to this type of compensation. It is difficult to make this claim and insurance companies will fight you. They do not like dealing with diminished value claims.
