I was rear ended last night by a drunk driver and the arresting officer must have written down the wrong name of the drivers insurance agency or it must be fake insurance because I cannot find the agency name online anywhere. I need a phone number for the agency to make a claim. How do I find the agency with policy #, and vehicle vin# and license plate?

Hello Iarita

Well, there is no much you can do other than contact your own insurance company (the claims department). They will try to help you identify if this insurance company even exists.

There is a very change that it is fake. It is a good thing he got arrested.

In any event, even if this guy has insurance, it is better to have your insurance company on your side.
