can you help me in this.

Answer
Hello Mani,

Getting your insurance company involved with this is the first step (which you have done). They will be able to defend you and get a lawyer for you if one is needed. Remember that your insurance company must cover you even in the case of frivolous or ludicrous lawsuits.

It is common to see attorneys ask for a very high number and work the way down (way down). This does not mean that you should not be on top of the investigation and make sure your adjuster is doing everything on her power to protect your interest. They have a duty to keep you informed, so make sure they are doing that.

Other than that, it looks like you are doing everything you can.

Good Luck,
Anne
