Auto Insurance Claims/Step-son got a DUI in our Company Truck

Question
My step son received a DUI last night while driving our company vehicle insured on a fleet auto policy. If he gave the auto insurance info to the police officer, will our insurance company find out that he had a DUI in a company vehicle? He did not have permission to be driving it. Will it matter to our insurance company that he did not have permission to be driving and that we didn't know he had the truck?
Thank You!

Answer
You will have to double check this with your agent since this is only my guess. If your son was not named on the policy to be a driver and he did not have your permission, then I don't think it would affect your premium. But you may also have to file a stolen vehicle police report to make the insurer happy? Like I said, I don't really know since underwriting rules vary from company to company. Sorry
