Question
how can I get help when someone lies to their insurance company about an accident they caused and no investigation was done, now they want to come at me to pay for his car when he was not even the driver.  Help please

Answer
Deb,

If neither of you has any evidence of who was at fault, then it's your word against the other persons word. And since the burden of proof is on the plaintiff in court, if the plaintiff has no evidence other than their own testimony, then they will probably not not get a judgment against you. But I'm no lawyer, so you can double check this with an accident attorney in your area.
