QUESTION: WHAT IS FAIR AND REASONABLE TO EXPECT FOR PAIN AND SUFFERING WHERE THE MEDICAL BILLS, WAGES AND OTHER MISC MEDICAL EXPENSES WILL TOTAL AROUND 2000,00 DOLLARS. I HAVE A SORE BACK FROM AN AUTO ACCIDENT.MY AUTO WAS REAR ENDED AND TOTALED  I WAS OUT OF WORK FOR ONE WEEK PER MY DOCTORS ORDER .ON MY DOCTORS ADVICE, PHYSICAL THERAPY HAS BEEN ORDERED IF NEEDED . IF THERE IS NO NEED TO SEEK FURTHER TREATMENT, WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY ? THEY HAVE ADMITTED THEIR CLIENT WAS 100 % AT FAULT.MY OTHER DAMAGES TOTALED $$8500 WHICH IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PAID.

QUESTION: is it reasonable to accept 3 times the amount of my total medical costs as a settlement if i believe i have no lingering affects from my auto accident ? my bills will total 2000.00 dollars. i understand this is not the only calculation concerning these types of accidents.

Well, again, it depends on what the medical records say. It also depends on what kind of medical bills we are talking about. $2,000 medical bills could be all diagnostic and not actual treatment which would devalue your claim.
