Question
Hello,

I was parked in a red zone and a car backed into mine.  It didn't cause much damage however my bumper has a huge dent and is hanging a little.  The lady try to put the blame on me however I confronted her and she accepted liability.  Is there anything I should worry about?  Her adjuster has contacted me already however I haven't had sufficient time to respond.

Answer
Hi Daniel,

Her insurance company may try to place some of the blame on you for being illegally parket. However, you should not accept any liability. The fact that you were parked and not moving removes any liability from you. Since she hit a stationary object, she is 100% at fault.

I hope this helps
