Question
a minimal liability policy was issued to an individual with 2 previous dui's. a 3rd dui has now resulted in a death. (head-on collision blood alcohol level 3 times over legal limit). any action against insur. co.? (Nevada)

Answer
Hi Joe,

No. it was the drivers negligence that caused the accident that resulted in the persons death, not the insurance company issuing a minimal policy. Besides, it was also the driver that opted to purchase the minimal policy, the insurance company did not force them to puy such minimal coverage.

I hope this helps
