Auto Insurance Claims/Minor accident in my driveway

Question
Today i was backing out of my long driveway.  When I got to the end of the driveway I went to stop to look and see if there was anything coming, when I did a car hit me from behind.  I pulled ahead and got out (still in my driveway) and asked the guy what he was doing?  He said, "I was using your driveway to turn around."  He is claiming that he was already backing out and i backed into him.  Which is not true.  When I came to almost a complete stop at the end of the driveway, that is when we were hit.  All this happened in my driveway.  At the same time when the collision happened I was looking behind me as I was backing up, when we collided it snapped my head back.  Now I am having discomfort in my lower neck.  Please advise!

Answer
Hello Kirk

Sounds like you have to file a claim with the insurance companies so they can investigate fault.

If you are not feeling 100 percent, consider seeing a doctor. Please see http://www.auto-insurance-claim-advice.com/bodily-injury-claim.html for more information about injury claims.

Really, the only thing you can do here is to have your insurance talk to his and see how they settle fault. After that, you can determine who to settle your injury damages.

Good Luck,
Anne
