I AM HAVING A HUGE ISSUE WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES NOT PAYING IN A TIMELY MATTER. FOR EXAMPLE PEACHTREE CASUALTY HAS FOUR CLAIMS THAT ARE STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION SINCE JANUARY 11, 2009.I HAVE SENT THEM A DEMAND LETTER AS WELL AS A PIP SUIT DEMAND, I HAVE ALSO SPOKEN TO THE ADJ. SUPERVISOR AND SHE STATED THAT THEY DO NOT CARE. I ALSO HAVE PROGRESSIVE AND INFINITY TAKING THAT SAME STANCE. WE HAVE SENT THEM THE POLICE REPORTS THE STANDARD ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND PROCEDURE FORM,PIP APPS. ATTENDING PHYSICIAN REPORT AND THE PROVIDER CERTIFICATION FORM. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BE DOING. CAN THE INS. COMPANIES GET AWAY WITH THIS. ACCORDING TO THE FLORIDA STATE STATUES THEY CAN NOT, BUT SOME HOW THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT. PLEASE HELP

Hello Javier,

You need to contact the Florida Department of Insurance and report the carriers for not paying your claim. You should also contact an attorney. It seems like they are not taking you seriously.
