Question
My medical bills are now $20000 and climbing. Surgery next month. I have attorney. Taxi driver not at fault (DC).  Other driver 100% fault (MD).  Lost Wages and cost of transportation to all these medical appointments ($5000) and climbing.  Both parties have minimal coverage limits.  I got letter from my insurance Company (VA) adjuster letting me know they are now in the play.  Please explain what is going on.  Who pays what?

Answer
Hi Vanessa,

Your attorney should be explaining all this to you. Since the other 2 insurance policies have minimal coverage, it will be your uninsured motorist coverage that will pick up the balance up to your policy limit.

I hope this helps
