Question
how long is the process for paying an claim, on an non injury accident. such as car parked. someone hit it and left.

Answer
Hello Margaret,

They are required to make a determination in 30 days. If they cannot, then they have to explain the delay in writing. Some hit and runs take a little some time to investigate if the facts are not very clear.

Most insurance companies try to cover your damages within 7 days, unless there are issues.
