Auto Insurance Claims/When do I can cancell my auto Insurance

Question
Hi,
Recently I'm involved in an accident, which happened three weeks before my insurance is going to expire. I was the co-driver in the insurance, and my friend is the main person. He is going to sell the car and cancel the insurance as and when it expires. If he cancel the insurance the accident will not be covered. To make sure that the damage occurred for third party vehicle covered under insurance, what should I look for.

Answer
Hello,

If you have a claim pending, it is wise to keep the policy and not let it expire. It gives you more leverage and it can help you make sure you actually get coverage.

I hope this helps,
Good Luck
