I was pulling out onto a 4 lane highway making a left. I reached the middle turn lane/median. A car entered the median and struck my vehicle on the passenger front corner of the bumper with the passenger corner front bumper. The car that struck me was heading in the opposite direction. I was ticketed for failure to yield. I pulled out to make the turn and was in the median a few second before the car hit me. Was this a faulty evasive action on the part of the other car? They told the police and my insurance company they hit me in the median. The other car has no insurance and my insurance will only pay for my car if the other car is at fault.
Can you advise me on how to fight the failure to yield ticket?

I'm assuming you're headed to court for the hearing in this matter. You'll have to build the best case you can against the other party, with statements from witnesses, diagrams and anything you believe will help your case in court. If you present a logical defense in court and support your side with solid evidence that the accident could not have been prevented, you may prevail.
