Question
Hello...
My father's girlfriend was driving my car. A tow truck made a reckless left turn and totaled my car! We have a witness the driver behind the tow truck also in the left turn lane. Who clearly states that the tow truck made a reckless decision to turn and caused the accident. The police determined the same thing from the placement of the car. How much will I get for my car? And because I work freelance I can't work... and have been out of work since April! what can I do?

Answer
If your car is a total loss, then you will be entitled to the "market value", the used value. You don't get new for old. If you think you were underpaid for the car, consider the eBook at UClaim.com entitled Total Loss Auto for Claimants, currently 75% off, around $6.00.

You would be entitled to what a rental car would cost from the time of the accident to when you were paid fairly for the car. I doubt you will get lost wages from being out of work.
