Question
I was at a red light when the vehicle behind me rear ended me and total out my car...i suffered a blow to my head on the steering wheel and pain in shoulder. I went thru about 6 weeks of physical therapy with no progress at which time an MRI was done showing rotator cuff damage..after having surgery and being off work my boyfriends home is about to be foreclosed on since he depended on my help with finances...is there anything we can do and how long will it take to settle with state farm...i was told possibly 2 years and my attorney stated this will probably go to a jury....we don't want to lose our home because of this accident

Answer
Well your attorney is probably right. But in the meantime, get a second opinion from another accident attorney. Most states require they should at least settle on the vehicle portion, and carry on the argument over the injury settlement. If its a rear ender, there should be no liability dispute, just the argument over damages. If you get low balled on the vehicle portion of the settlement, consider the eBook at UClaim.com Total Loss Auto for Claimants.
