Question
hi, my vehicle keys were stolen from my garage on the 15.8.09,and the car was stolen using the keys whilst it was parked outside my garage ,the engineer has made an offer on the vehicle as it was found and was deemed a total loss, what is the likelihood of the insurance not paying out as the keys were taken thanks phil

Answer
As long as you can document that the keys were stolen, the policy should cover the loss. Even without the documentation, it ought to be covered. Unless your company is accusing you of engineering the theft as a way to cover the damage, you should be fine.
