Question
my car caught fire with me in it due to a defect to the fire paneling, as a result i have multiple body injuries with doctors bills up to one million dollars. the company went bankrupt, but soon got out of it and are now saying that anything that happened with their cars before july first they are not held accountable for..my accident was may 26..my case would be thrown out of court is there anything i can do to get a settlement?

Answer
Hi Brittany,

I am very sorry for your situation. As far as I know there is nothing you can do. The company went bankrupt which means they were released from any and all obligations that occured prior to the bankruptsy. I am not an attorney. I would recommend that you speak with an attorney if you have not already done so. They may know of something you can do, but you should not get your hopes up. Again, I am very sorry.

Sincerely,
